At the 2026 Year of the Horse Spring Festival Gala, the children of the Mengzhou Choir once again showcased their talent and enthusiasm with energetic performances. They presented two separate acts: a song performance of “My Paper Airplane” and a wonderful diabolo (Chinese yo-yo) performance.

The diabolo is a traditional Chinese folk skill. Performers use two sticks connected by a string to spin and toss a wooden spool-shaped wheel, keeping it rotating rapidly while throwing and catching it in the air. As it spins, the diabolo produces a distinctive whistling sound. The technique requires strong coordination, balance, and agility.
