Raft Educationwas founded in 2015 with a mission to promote cultural exchange between Chinese and American youth. Our programs include:
Raft Chinese School
Raft Chinese School is the first immersive Chinese language school in Ithaca, New York. It serves children ages 5-12 and operates from September to June, Monday to Friday, 2:00-5:30 PM.Students are grouped by age and language level. Our curriculum includes: Chinese language and expression, Chinese history and cultural literacy, STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math), Arts, ect..All classes are taught by professional native Chinese-speaking teachers. We also offer: AP Chinese classes for high school students & Weekend Chinese classes for all ages.
Raft Trilingual Montessori School
Founded in 2025, Raft Trilingual Montessori School serves children from8 weeks to 5 years old. We combine the Montessori philosophy with a trilingual environment in Chinese, English, and Spanish, helping children build strong foundations in language, independence, and social-emotional development.
Our classrooms are led by certified Montessori teachers and native speakers. We offer small class sizes, hands-on learning, and a warm, multicultural environment where every child is respected and supported.
